Robyn and Jeff’s wedding day was a big family affair! From Getting Ready to the Reception, Robyn and Jeff were surrounded by everyone they love, and it made the day that much more fun to capture. The Reception was held at Testa’s Banquet Facility where everyone feasted on a delicious dinner and danced the night away with the help of LT Entertainment.

CT Engagement Photography – Alexis & Ryan – Harkness Park
We love photographing our couples at Harkness Park. It is so diverse we always have a lot of space to work with. From the beach to the mansion to the gardens, everywhere you look is another beautiful backdrop for our couples. Needless to say Alexis and Ryan were just as brilliant as Harkness Park is. They were willing to do anything including laying in the grass, climbing out onto the rocky beach, and scaling a balcony. Yea, their engagement session was a blast!
Here are just a few of our favorites:

A Wedding – Christina & Jacob – Villa Capri
Christina & Jacob had a beautiful ceremony and a dance filled reception at the Villa Capri. We left briefly for portraits at Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT. Lyman Orchards served as the perfect spot for portraits. The sun was on it’s way down and our large bridal party had plenty of room to spread out for group photographs. When it came to individual portraits the trees in the orchard were the perfect backdrop for a romantic kiss from the bride and groom. Once back at the Villa Capri LT Entertainment got the party going and never let it stop. By the end of the night the guests were enjoying a back lit shadow dance screen (see it here!) and the ultimate limbo contest!
Thank you Christina & Jacob for letting us be a part of your big day. We had a blast getting to know you and capturing all of your special moments!

An Engagement Session – Heather & Joe – Hadley, Mass
For Heather & Joe’s engagement session we went on a Fall Adventure! We met our couple up in Hadley Mass to visit Stanley Park – a place they used to frequent. Then we went to a local farm for a good ol’ hay ride and some pumpkin picking! It didn’t end there though, eventually we found ourselves at a miniature golf course, playing for keeps and photographing the journey.
Engagement photographs are meant to be beautiful portraits that get couples acquainted with their photography. At LT Photography that means going out and having fun together! Whatever adventure you’re looking for – from simple to complex – we do it all!

A Wedding – Ruthy & Chris – Villa Capri
Ruthy & Chris were worried they would have to make the best of their rainy wedding day. But, in perfect time, the rain stopped long enough to capture great wedding portraits in Hubbard Park in Meriden, CT. With a dance filled reception at the Villa Capri, the day ended up going perfect. Surrounded by family and friends Ruthy & Chris never stopped smiling and laughing throughout the day. It was all about celebrating their love and having a great time. Here’s to Ruthy & Chris!

An Engagement – Crystal & Chris – Chatfield Hollow
We’re always searching for new exciting places to do our engagement sessions. One of our photographers had visited Chatfield Hollow during the summer and immediately saw it as a great location for photography. With lakes, streams, and stone walls it is a perfect representation of New England in the Fall. The colors during Crystal and Chris’ engagement session were nearing peak, so it was beautiful out. Crystal and Chris were a little uneasy at first, but loosened up as the shoot went on. By the end they were laughing with us and striking wonderful poses all on their own. We can’t wait for their Fall 2012 wedding!

Senior Photo Session – Joy – Class of 2012 LT Studio
Joy was a natural in front of our cameras. We utilized our studio space, but also took Joy outside to take photographs along the brick wall of our building and in the trees behind our building. Upon first glance the area doesn’t seem photograph-worthy, but with the right settings, and a photographer’s eye our grounds are transformed into a series of perfect backdrops for seniors, families, and more!

A Family Session – The Randazzo’s – Brown’s Harvest Windsor CT
Fall is the perfect time for a Family session. This Fall we were kept busy by weddings and Family shoots, and Senior sessions… it’s no wonder we’re posting this in December! The Randazzo’s were such a joy to photograph. Little Bella was such a smiley little girl; her parents knew how to make her laugh! That isn’t to say she didn’t have her moments of unhappiness, but she has such a personality that even those moments were completely adorable.
The photo where she is standing with the Mums was actually the first time she ever stood on her own – and she stood for a good couple of minutes before plopping back on her bottom. What a great memory to cherish!

Senior Photo Session – Zack – LT Photo Studio
We always love when our clients are really animated. Zack was so expressive during his shoot it was hard to narrow them down during the editing process! In the end we did what we had to do, but it’s great to have a subject really take over the space we give them to use. Even with a blank slate in the LT Studio Zack was able to show off his personality and just be himself.
